MAJOR TRAVEL ALERT: I-95 Lake Marion bridge pileup

MAJOR TRAVEL ALERT — A massive multi-vehicle pileup on the I-95 bridge over Lake Marion created a serious travel disruption in the Pee Dee corridor.
Reporting described 69 vehicles involved, including tractor-trailers, after dense fog sharply reduced visibility. Several people were hurt, at least one person was flown to a hospital, and southbound I-95 was closed during the cleanup. A detour was established at Exit 102 while crews cleared the bridge.
