Halloween Week on the Strand: Jeep Jam, Conway’s City of Halloween and Little River’s Fright Nights
The Grand Strand does not wind down after Labor Day so much as change costume. The final week of October stacks three of the fall’s biggest draws into one long weekend.
Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam, Oct. 30 to Nov. 1
Thousands of Jeeps roll into town for shows, beach crawls and vendor rows. Expect heavy traffic along Kings Highway and around Broadway at the Beach, and book parking ahead if you are staying downtown.
Conway, City of Halloween, all month
Downtown Conway decorates for the whole month with family events along the riverfront. It is a 20-minute drive inland and a good evening escape from the beach crowds.
Little River Waterfront Fright Nights, through Oct. 31
New this year, Fright Nights runs along the Little River waterfront through Halloween night. Pair it with dinner on the water.
Also this week
- 8Fo3 Mopar Fever wraps up October 25.
- Art in the Park returns to Myrtle Beach November 14 and 15.
Planning tip
Rates dip after Jeep Jam weekend. If your dates are flexible, the first two weeks of November offer the same weather at a fraction of the price.
